Where to start? I was given the opportunity to photograph this jaw-droppingly gorgeous and intimate wedding last fall, on the bride’s family property near Glendo State Park in Wyoming. Abigail had stressed to me that the outdoors were important to both her and Jens, and nothing short of a blizzard would force them indoors. My kind of people!
They were rewarded with the most unbelievable October weather. It was almost 80 degrees, with not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony site was decorated with juniper and baby’s breath, a perfect accompaniment to the ponderosa, sagebrush, and always massive Wyoming sky. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a homecooked meal, friends, and family.
It was a beautiful start to what I can only imagine will be a long life together for Abigail and Jens. Family and friends (and the Wyoming outdoors) are clearly a priority in their life, one that will serve them well in their life to come.
