Karson | Senior Girl Basketball Photo Session

Karson is a *wildly* talented basketball and track star at Cheyenne Central High School, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. And when I say wildly talented, I mean like “multi-year state champ track star” kind of talented. While I wasn’t as successful at track (my only state championship was part of a 4×100 relay team), basketball was my jam – two Montana state championships, friends! If you can figure out my maiden name, those articles still exist too. 😉

So when Karson’s mom got in touch and said they had some ideas for her senior photo session, I was all in!

We found a quiet basketball court in Cheyenne, with a decent background. I will caveat this: the only reason I was okay with photographing a teenager 10′ in the air over concrete is because I’ve known her mom for almost ten years! I could trust her parents to safely get her onto a basketball hoop (and more importantly, not sue me if something went sideways).
