How Old Should My Baby Be For Newborn Photos?

There’s no one right answer on this! I do recommend avoiding the 3-5 weeks post-due date age (thanks, growth spurt!), but even that timeframe can be a perfect choice for your family. I’ve photographed babies anywhere from a few hours to 3 months old, and every single age is exactly right.

What To Wear For Newborn Photos

Keep it simple! Neutrals or earth tones for the whole family (including baby), and be comfortable. Plain t-shirts on dads and kids, mom in an oversized top and leggings, bare feet for all.
