What about newborn photos? | Cheyenne Photographer

What happens if I can’t get newborn photos done?

The last few weeks have been…something. I’m watching brides reschedule weddings, businesses cancel events, charities struggle to get through commitments without volunteers. While it is incredibly hard to make the decision to reschedule your wedding day or cancel your event, what do you do when you need newborn photos?

I am not scheduling newborn sessions through the end of May 2020. My newborn sessions are in-home, and I don’t feel comfortable asking anyone to allow me into their home right now.

Since I’m not posing sleepy newborns, I photograph babies at any age. Will a session with a four month old be exactly like newborn photos? Maybe not. Will you still have a keepsake from your little one’s under one months? Most definitely.

As of today, I’m scheduling non-newborn sessions in May 2020, although that could change if the state of Wyoming recommends non-essential businesses close. I’m asking that my May sessions occur outdoors, in sparsely populated areas, and I will be using equipment that allows me to photograph from 10′ or more away.

If you’re interested in a newborn/baby session for June 1, 2020, or later, please get in touch and we can discuss your options. I plan on having special pricing for those families who are looking for newborn photos, but are unable to have them taken in the first few weeks in their home.
