While I’m slightly annoyed about the snow falling outside my window at the moment, I have to admit that I’m a cool weather brand of human. I love the muted colors and spectacular textures of winter, especially grasses. Blessed and I had been trying to meet up for months, and finally managed a (gorgeous) December evening for photos and a stroll along the Poudre River in Fort Collins, Colorado for a winter family photoshoot. Blessed has a great sense of color, and the neutral colors she picked for her family fit in perfectly with the grass and winter sun. And while I have at least one kid with epic hair, mine can’t hold a candle to the hair on these three! Curls are great for backlight, but straight hair can’t be beat for movement and life in photos.
