Amy got in touch about an extended family session while she was in Cheyenne, visiting her mom. She requested a location that really made me think of Wyoming, so we headed up to Curt Gowdy State Park! It was a perfect early summer evening, right after a rainstorm had passed through.
I had such a great evening getting to know this family! Talking to the older boys, their mom has made sure family photos are a at-least-annual occurrence, so they were more than happy to oblige with smiles and help with their younger siblings.
We covered a ton of ground in this session, which is the best way to photograph with little kids. Move, move, move! We finished off the session with a few quick shots on the playground, as a reward for putting up with my ridiculousness.
Thank you again to Amy, for making the drive up there after driving all the way from Louisiana!

Thinking about a fall session? Get in touch ASAP! September and early October are quickly filling up! I stop scheduling fall sessions after October 15th, and will take a short break before moving into the winter season. At this point I only have one or two weekend dates open (reserved for full-price sessions), but I do still have weekday dates.
If you're waiting for a mini session announcement, I'm not sure I'll be having mini session dates this year! Our wedding season has been moved to September and October this year, so my weekends are mostly full of travel. If you were hoping for a mini session, get in touch at the link above, as I've been offering a slightly reduced price Half Session for quick family portraits. I'll be posting more about those soon!
