Oskar Blues Oak Room Wedding in Longmont, Colorado
Early last June, I met up with Rina and Tyvyn for a beautifully simple ceremony at the Roosevelt Park Memorial Rose Garden in Longmont, followed by a beer-and-donut reception of awesomeness at the Oskar Blues Oak Room.
The Memorial Rose Garden is a fantastic ceremony spot for a June wedding. The roses were in full bloom, and the archway was covered with leaves. Simple, easy, and lovely. Their guests stood for the short ceremony, making for a quick getaway to the reception.
This was my first visit to the Oskar Blues Oak Room, located behind the Tasty Weasel Tap Room. What a fantastic space! Plenty of room for guests inside, but a HUGE grassy area with tables out front (fenced, so beer was a-OK). It was a perfect summer’s evening.
